2 more special assistants to chief adviser appointed
With this, five special assistants to the chief adviser remain in charge of five ministries

Sheikh Moinuddin and Faiz Ahmed Taiyeb have been appointed as special assistants to Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus.
The Cabinet Division issued a notification today (5 March), stating that the chief adviser has appointed them as his special assistants with the rank of state minister.
To help the chief adviser, Sheikh Moinuddin has been attached to the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges and Faiz Ahmed Taiyeb to the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology.
They will receive the rank, salary and allowances and other benefits of a state minister while serving as special assistants, reads the notice.
Initially, three special assistants to the chief adviser, had been given the responsibility of three ministries. With this, five special assistants to the chief adviser remain in charge of five ministries with the rank of state minister.
In a separate notification, newly appointed Adviser Professor Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar – known as CR Abrar – has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Education.
The interim government led by Professor Muhammad Yunus was formed on 8 August 2024 after the fall of Sheikh Hasina's government on 5 August in the face of a mass upsurge led by students.
