Walton is relentlessly working to revolutionise Bangladesh's electronics, electrical, and high-tech industries, aiming to make the country self-reliant. With the love and support of customers, sellers, and well-wishers, Walton has played a crucial role in developing domestic industries. This has resulted in significant foreign currency savings through import cuts while boosting foreign exchange reserves through the export of 'Made in Bangladesh' labelled electronics and technology products. Walton is making a remarkable contribution to the country's socio-economic development by improving living standards and creating extensive employment opportunities.

As a manufacturing company, Walton has achieved the highest credit rating standard, an 'AAA-rated company. Every year, Walton is awarded for being one of the highest VAT and tax-paying companies. The company maintains full compliance in production, marketing, sales operations, and after-sales service of its products. Walton ensures product quality using the world's most advanced testing equipment. Each product manufactured by Walton is supplied to the market after getting testing certificates from NUSDAT-UTS, an internationally accredited testing lab recognised by the Bangladesh Accreditation Board. Recent Misleading Propaganda Against Walton

Unfortunately, Walton has recently noticed that some individuals have staged a human chain and spread misleading propaganda against Walton on social media.

Walton believes these are deliberate and baseless attempts to damage the reputation of the domestic industry. A particular vested group is engaging in planned misinformation campaigns to create opportunities for foreign product imports by tarnishing the image of local companies.

Walton's Response

Walton has firmly stated that the allegations against them are false and strategically motivated. The company explained that some dealers and distributors previously purchased products on credit but failed to repay their dues after selling those products. Instead, they diverted the sales proceeds elsewhere or invested in ventures that did not yield expected financial returns. These individuals falsely accuse Walton and spread misleading information to avoid settling their dues.

Walton further emphasised that there was no record of anyone incurring losses by doing business with them. On the contrary, thousands of dealers and distributors have successfully partnered with Walton for years. The company has also received many applications for new dealership opportunities. Walton operates with business transparency and has built strong relationships with its dealers.

Propaganda Against the Domestic Industry

Walton believes that certain vested groups become active in trying to destabilise the domestic industry following the upcoming national budget announcement. Their prime objective is to create import opportunities by running negative campaigns against local manufacturers. Walton stated: "Every year, we notice such false propaganda before the budget announcement, and this year is no different."

Walton asserts that such misinformation does not just harm a single company but can also negatively impact the country's overall economy and employment sector. The company views these conspiratorial campaigns as deliberate efforts to undermine the growth of Bangladesh's domestic industries.

Walton's Appeal

Walton has assured that if any dealer or distributor believes they have faced issues with any Walton sales representative or have unresolved accounts, they are always welcome to contact Walton directly with the necessary documents. The company is open to thoroughly verifying and resolving any legitimate concerns.

Walton urges its countless customers, well-wishers, and business partners to avoid misleading propaganda. The company also calls upon the concerned authorities to take necessary measures against these false campaigns that arise before the budget announcement. Walton firmly believes that its customers, sellers, well-wishers, and policymakers will remain vigilant against such malicious activities and continue their unwavering support for developing Bangladesh's domestic industry.
