YouTube hosts first Creator Bootcamp in Bangladesh

YouTube held its first-ever YouTube Creator Bootcamp in Bangladesh last week, gathering 70 rising creators for an exclusive training program aimed at fostering growth and success in the country's digital space.
Titled YouTube Academy 1.0, the event brought together top content creators, industry experts, and aspiring YouTubers to discuss strategies for content creation, audience engagement, and community building. With over 60,000 Bangladeshi channels surpassing 10,000 subscribers, YouTube sees immense potential in the region and is committed to supporting local talent.
Leading creators like Farjana Akter (Farjana Drawing Academy), Liton Ali Khan (Village Grandpa's Cooking), and Rafsan (The ChotoBhai) shared insights from their journeys. YouTube executives emphasised their long-term investment in the country's creator ecosystem.
"This bootcamp is just the beginning of a sustained effort to support and amplify local talent," said Ajay Vidyasagar, MD of YouTube India, Southeast Asia & Emerging Markets.
