Md. Ahsan Kabir joins Janata Bank PLC as director

Md. Ahsan Kabir, Additional Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division, has joined Janata Bank PLC as its new director. To mark the occasion, Janata Bank Chairman Md. Fazlur Rahman extended a warm welcome on behalf of the Board of Directors.

The event was attended by directors Badre Munir Ferdous, Dr. Md. Abdus Sabur, A.K.M. Khabir Uddin Chowdhury, Abdul Majid Sheikh, and Dr. Md. Shahadat Hossain. Also present were Acting Managing Director Md. Golam Mortuza, Deputy Managing Directors Md. Fayez Alam and Md. Nurul Alam, FCMA, FCA (CFO), and Company Secretary Md. Abdul Alim Khan.

Md. Ahsan Kabir completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Botany from the University of Dhaka in 1987 and 1988, respectively. A member of the BCS Administration Cadre since 1994, he has received professional training in the UK, Australia, and other countries. Born on December 26, 1966, in Ballarpur, Meherpur, he brings extensive experience and expertise to his new role at Janata Bank.
