Threadwel partners with Meghna Bank to digitally transform the RMG sector

Threadwel is excited to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Meghna Bank, marking the first collaboration of its kind within the Threadwel network.

This partnership aims to accelerate digital transformation in Bangladesh's Ready-Made Garments (RMG) sector, offering comprehensive financial services and banking solutions to enhance the platform's capabilities for RMGs, suppliers, and buyers nationwide.

Treadwel, a cloud-based procurement platform, has revolutionised how the RMG sector operates by allowing buyers and suppliers to connect quickly and efficiently, significantly improving procurement processes. With Meghna Bank joining as the first bank in the Threadwel network, this collaboration strengthens the platform's value proposition, particularly in cash management. Meghna Bank's expertise will ensure that Threadwel's growing user base benefits from seamless financial transactions, adding a new layer of convenience and security to the digital procurement ecosystem.

In addition to providing cash management solutions, Meghna Bank is introducing a Dedicated Desk for Meghna Bank Clients who are Partners in the Threadwel Network. This desk will serve as a specialised point of contact for all banking needs. This service aims to enhance the speed and efficiency of transactions for RMGs and suppliers who are both Meghna Bank clients and part of the Threadwel network, ensuring smoother financial operations.

This partnership also benefits Meghna Bank clients within the Threadwel ecosystem. Clients will enjoy special discounts on Threadwel membership fees, further incentivising the adoption of the platform's services and strengthening the bond between financial solutions and digital procurement in the RMG industry.

"We are thrilled to partner with Meghna Bank as the first bank in the Threadwel network," said Mr Mahmudul Kabir and Mr Toriqul Islam, Co-Founders of Threadwel. "Meghna Bank's cash management solutions and commitment to innovation perfectly align with our vision to digitise and streamline the RMG procurement process. Their involvement will significantly benefit our users by ensuring smoother financial transactions and offering dedicated services to facilitate faster business operations. This collaboration marks a key step in bringing the entire RMG ecosystem into the digital age, and we look forward to working together to expand our shared impact on the industry."

Mr Kimiwa Saddat, Deputy Managing Director of Meghna Bank, also expressed excitement about the collaboration, noting, "As the first bank in Threadwel's network, we are proud to support this pioneering platform. Our cash management services are designed to ensure that the procurement process for Threadwel's network is efficient and seamless. We are equally excited to offer dedicated desk services to Meghna Bank clients who are part of the Threadwel network, enabling faster and more personalised banking solutions. We are confident this partnership will drive substantial growth for Threadwel and the RMG sector."

The partnership between Treadwell and Meghna Bank is poised to create a lasting impact on Bangladesh's RMG industry by offering a combination of cutting-edge digital tools and robust banking solutions. By combining Threadwel's innovative platform with Meghna Bank's financial expertise, both organisations are helping to lay the foundation for a more digitised, efficient, and competitive RMG ecosystem.
