Mahtab Uddin Ahmed elected ICMAB president
Md Kausar Alam and Abdul Matin Patwary were elected as vice-presidents
Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, founder of BuildCon Consultancies Limited & BuildNations Ltd, has been elected the president the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB).
ICMAB elected its new leadership team for 2025 in its Council Meeting held yesterday (26 January).
Md Kausar Alam and Abdul Matin Patwary were elected as vice-presidents, Hasnain Thoufiq Ahmed was elected as the secretary and Md Maksudur Rahman will serve as treasurer.

Mahtab Uddin previously served as the CEO and managing director of Robi Axiata Ltd, where he achieved significant milestones in leadership and corporate success.
Ahmed holds both Honours and Masters in Accounting from Dhaka University with distinction.
He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School (AMP 190) and IMB Switzerland and has also completed several advanced programs with INSEAD.
