The University of Chittagong (CU) has expelled 73 students for reported attacks on protesting students and journalists during the July-August uprising.

The university's Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Kamal Uddin disclosed the information at a memorial service organised in memory of those martyred and injured in the uprising at the Shaheed Minar square of the university on Thursday (January 23).
