MBBS admission test results published, pass rate 45.62%
Girls outnumber boys in pass rate

Results of the MBBS admission test for the academic session of 2024-25 of public and private medical colleges was published today (19 January).
The pass rate in the admission test was 45.62%, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

A total of 60,095 admission seekers have passed the test.
"Girls outnumbered boys in the pass rate of the admission test. Of the students who passed the exam, 22,159 [36.87%] are boys and 37,936 [63.13%] are girls," reads the health ministry's statement.
The pass mark was 40 out of 100. The highest score was 90.75.
How to get the results
Applicants who participated in the test will be able to see their results online. Information about the results will also be published on the website of the Directorate General of Medical Education.
In addition, the results will be communicated to the passed applicants through a short message on their mobile phone numbers provided at the time of application.
5,380 seats in government medical colleges
The MBBS admission test for the academic year 2024-2025 was held on 17 January. This year, students will be admitted to 5,380 seats in 37 government medical colleges and 6,293 seats in 67 private medical colleges.
A total of 1,35,665 applications were submitted online to participate in the admission test this year. Out of which, 1,31,729 candidates participated in the test.
The admission window for eligible students to government medical colleges will be open from 2 to 8 February.
Meanwhile, the notification for online applications for admission to private medical colleges will be released on 23 January.
