Unveiling the Latest Trends in Interior Design for Upcoming Year

At ISHO, we're always looking ahead to understand what's shaping the future of design. By diving deep into the latest insights from leading design publications and trends over the past year, we've identified five big shifts that are set to define 2025.

From the cozy, welcoming vibe of curved and soft-edged furniture to the increasing focus on sustainability with natural materials, these trends reflect how design is evolving to match modern lifestyles. The mix of metals, bold earthy colors, and adaptable, multifunctional spaces show a move toward creating homes that are personal, stylish, and practical. At ISHO, we're excited to bring these trends to life in our designs for the year ahead.

Curved and Soft-Edged Furniture: The resurgence of rounded and organic shapes in furniture design continues to gain momentum. Pieces like the Dalian sofa set from ISHO exemplify this trend with cocoon-like armchairs, offering a sense of comfort and fluidity in living spaces.

Sustainable and Natural Materials: There's an increasing emphasis on eco-friendly materials such as reclaimed wood, rattan, natural stone, and plant-based textiles. This trend reflects a commitment to environmental responsibility and a desire to connect interiors with nature, fostering a sense of well-being.

Mixed Metal & Stone Finishes: Combining different metal finishes—like brass, black, bronze, and nickel—and mixing it with stone and marble finishes is gaining popularity, especially in bathrooms, living room and kitchens. This approach adds depth and visual interest, allowing for personalized and dynamic spaces.

Rich and Earthy Color Palettes: Deep, saturated hues such as burgundy, forest green, terracotta, and navy blue are making a comeback. These colors infuse spaces with warmth and sophistication, moving away from the previously dominant neutral tones.

Multifunctional and Adaptable Spaces: With homes serving multiple purposes, there's a trend towards furniture that is both functional and comfortable. Modular sofas such as Malmo from ISHO that can be easily rearranged are becoming essential for creating versatile living environments.
