With a staggering 23.2 million population, Dhaka cannot provide most of its residents with standard living solutions backed by a proper lifestyle. In fact, by 2035, the growth rate indicates that its population will be 3.12 million.

Dedicated public facilities like playgrounds, parks, and recreational walkways or pathways are scarce. Home solutions are mostly basic, with no added lifestyle features, due to the scarcity of space.

On top of that, air quality drops so frequently that the city people choke, while the children are kept inside.

Considering all these phenomena, Edison, a leading real estate company in the country, has come up with a new concept property that addresses all the needs, and incorporated those in their new apartment - Edison Iris, in Block A of the capital's Bashundhara residential area.

The project began with a vision to bring luxury and warmth to city living while providing peace and calm, like an Iris. The ongoing project commits to embodying every detail and element to ensure that.  Every element, from the initial sketches to the final finishes, creates a sanctuary of comfort, style, and peace amidst the city's energy.

Still in the initial phase, Edison Iris is being constructed on 30 katha of land. With open sides to the north and south, welcoming abundant sunlight and fresh air, the apartment complex will consist of two wings, which will house 44 apartments. The 12-floored structure will house 44 apartments of 2620-3020 square feet, while the ground parking will have 72 parking spots. Underneath, it has two basements.

The concept of the complex is based on ensuring a 360-degree lifestyle, where the age groups and genders of the prospective inhabitants have been considered meticulously and positioned in the master plan.

There are designated spaces for children of various ages, from toddlers to adolescents, and facilities to ensure that the adults get their share of joy.

Keeping the needs of every member of the community in mind, the property is planned with more than 10 features and facilities, including double height entrance, a jogging track, an open playground on six katha area, a reading lounge, a couple of multipurpose halls, water bodies, a gymnasium, swimming pool with kids' pool, sun deck, rooftop garden and leisure area, and charging facility for electric vehicles.

The ground floor: An entrance to tranquility

The ground floor of Edison Iris offers a calm and inviting ambiance. With a spacious reception, double-height entry, waiting lounges and a reading corner, this level welcomes the guests with warmth.

The outdoor space includes a lush, landscaped garden with a large playfield and a semi-outdoor play area, providing a vibrant yet tranquil atmosphere right at the building's entrance.

Community spaces: Crafted for connection

Edison Iris provides a range of inviting community areas, thoughtfully designed to foster interaction and a shared sense of home. These include a versatile multipurpose hall, an equipped gym, and welcoming waiting areas on the mezzanine level.

A unique community bridge connects each floor, beautifully accented with green planters and comfortable seating, creating natural gathering spots that invite residents to connect, relax, and engage.

The Rooftop: An escape with stunning views

Crowning Edison Iris is a rooftop space complete with a swimming pool, sun deck, BBQ area, leisure spaces, jogging track, and gym. This rooftop is designed for both relaxation and recreation, providing panoramic city views and spaces for social gatherings or personal retreats, making it a peaceful escape that embraces the essence of refined urban living.

Why should you invest?

The demand for eco-friendly housing is on the rise, driven by the growing preference of the urban middle class for sustainable and modern living. This demand has transformed the housing sector into a booming industry.

Recent data reveals that between 2020 and 2022, flat prices per square foot in the capital saw a significant increase of 30.10%. Based on this trend, it is projected that property values in East Dhaka—the emerging growth zone—could triple within the next five years.

This makes now the ideal time to invest in what is poised to become the future hub of Dhaka. Real estate experts strongly recommend investment in this sector due to its high return on investment (ROI), sustainable growth potential, and convenient payment options.

The property's strategic location, well-designed master plan, and versatile apartment sizes present a unique opportunity for forward-thinking investors and aspiring homeowners. With a flexible payment schedule, this is your chance to secure a stake in Dhaka's promising future.
