Information Center on Nuclear Energy (ICONE) Dhaka to host an hour-long online session titled "Current status of Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant (RNPP) and career opportunities in the nuclear industry in Bangladesh" tonight at 8.30 pm.

Al Mamun and Emran Hossain, respectively the manager and assistant senior manager of the Nuclear Power Company Bangladesh (NPCBL) will speak at the session on work progress and condition during the pandemic situation, safety measurements for employees and how to prepare for career opportunities at the RNPP project.

The event targeted for a wide range of audience especially for students and aspiring professionals to build a career in science and tech. Anyone can participate clicking here.

ICONE Dhaka has been regularly organising educational and online activities to promote science and nuclear education in Bangladesh with the support from Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) and Russia's state atomic energy corporation- Rosatom.
