Voice of Business launches Writing Contest 2025

Voice of Business (VoB), Bangladesh's first student-run magazine publication club, has officially announced the launch of the "VoB Writing Contest 2025." This year's edition calls upon aspiring student writers from across the country to contribute under the theme "An Open Letter to Bangladesh's Education System and the Way Forward." The deadline for submissions is set for July 10, 2025.
Despite significant advancements in infrastructure and increased enrolment rates, Bangladesh's education system continues to face deep-rooted challenges—particularly in how it fosters creativity, independent thinking, and practical preparedness for real-world demands. Through this open-letter format, students are invited to reflect critically on their educational journeys, identify systemic gaps, and offer insightful, constructive recommendations for reform.
The contest is open to all university students across Bangladesh, providing a timely opportunity to engage in intellectual dialogue around one of the nation's most pressing issues. With a total prize pool of BDT 15,000, the competition will reward the top three entries with both monetary recognition and publication in VoB's 15th annual issue. The top 10 write-ups will also be featured on the club's website and Facebook page, giving young voices a broader audience and a platform to influence meaningful discourse.
Voice of Business began its journey in 2007 as the country's pioneering student-led publication club. Since its inception, it has curated events like BRANDRILL, the VoB Writing Contest, seminars, and job fairs—carving out a dynamic space for students to express their ideas, sharpen their communication skills, and engage with current affairs at the intersection of academia and industry.
