NSU Startups Next announces induction of 3rd incubation cohort

North South University's flagship startup incubation programme, NSU Startups Next (NSUSN), recently held the induction ceremony for its 3rd cohort of promising startup teams.
The 3rd Cohort Launch introduced new startups to key stakeholders from government, investment, corporate sectors, and academia. This event strengthened ties between the university, industry, and policymakers, opening pathways for partnerships and funding.
Distinguished guests included officials from the ICT Division, iDEA Project, and Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority, as well as investors and startup leaders. Notable attendees were Mr Murtuza Zulkar Nain Noman, Joint Secretary and Project Director at iDEA; Mr Monjur Mohammad Shahriar, Project Director at BHTPA; and Mr Rahat Ahmed, Founder & Managing Partner at Anchorless Bangladesh.
Samuel Mursalin, NSUSN Director, expressed optimism about Bangladeshi founders' resilience and creativity, highlighting their ability to compete regionally. Rahat Ahmed emphasised the growing female consumer market and the need for more female founders who understand it.
NSU Vice-Chancellor Prof Abdul Hannan Chowdhury reaffirmed the university's commitment to entrepreneurship, stating that NSUSN empowers students to become job creators, not just job seekers.
The 3rd Cohort Launch is a key milestone in NSUSN's vision to build a strong university startup ecosystem. Through programmes like Founders' Lab and Flagship Incubation, NSUSN supports founders throughout their entrepreneurial journey, fostering innovation and investment readiness.
