Legendary British actor and 'Mr Bean' star Rowan Atkinson is reportedly set to star in a silent film about his own life.

The "Johnny English" star has apparently been filming himself on a Ciné camera since the early days of his career, with plans to use the footage for an upcoming project, reports Lad Bible.

The news was revealed to 'The Mirror' by Rowan Atkinson's close friend and fellow actor Michael Fenton Stevens.

Michael Fenton said, "Very early on in Rowan Atkinson's career he started Ciné filming his own life."

"He has a great store of Ciné film, so there will be a silent movie of Rowan Atkinson's career," added Michael

Ciné film or cine film is the term commonly used in the UK to refer to the 8 mm, Super 8, 9.5 mm, and 16 mm motion picture film formats used for home movies.

The original Mr. Bean ran for five years between 1990 and 1995 on British television. It spawned two films in 1997's Bean and a follow-up a decade later, Mr. Bean's Holiday.
