The highly-anticipated mystery thriller "Munshigiri" is set to hit the Chorki platform on 30 September.

The web film will star eminent Bangladeshi Actor Chanchal Chowdhury in the lead role.

The actor took to his Facebook account to announce the release date of the film, adopted from a novel titled "Mriterao Kotha Bole" authored by Shibarata Barman.

The storyline follows the life of an investigative police officer who is in a quest for unveiling the mystery surrounding a truth.

"Munshigiri" has drawn much attention as it brings back the hit duo Chanchal Chowdhury and Amitabh Reza Chowdhury, after the success of "Aynabaji" in 2016.

Directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury and penned by Naseef Amin, the film will feature Chanchal Chowdhury in the titular character Masood Munshi, and Purnima as his wife, Suraiya Akhter.

Meanwhile, Sabnam Faria was also roped in for a prominent character named Parveen Sultana in the project.

Earlier, Director Amitabh Reza shared an intriguing official poster of the film featuring Chanchal Chowdhury.
