In the rooftop, Miss Shiuly walks towards Diya and they start chatting about relationships. During their conversation, Diya asks Miss Shiuly, "What suggestion do you have for me?" Miss Shiuly replies, "Don't get pregnant." Diya looks confused.

This is a scene from the drama "Miss Shiuly." I was interested to watch the drama after watching the trailer, as it looked promising.  Therefore, I started watching the drama with a mindset that it was going to be a funny and entertaining one because of the cast, especially the lead role is played by brilliant actor Aupee Karim. She was one of the key reasons I showed interest in the drama in the first place.

But when I finished watching "Miss Shiuly," I was moved and awestruck. I once again realised the reason viewers keep complaining that over the years, the quality of Bangladeshi dramas deteriorated and now we don't have good actors in the industry. It is because these days most dramas lack strong scripts and well written dialogues. Which is why "Miss Shiuly" stands out for its beautiful plot and mature dialogues.

Written and directed by Ashfaque Nipun, the drama tells a story about human relationships. It reminds us how we forget to brush up our relationships and take care of each other in very entertaining manner. The drama features a few outstanding characters as well.

Story of the drama revolves around Miss Shiuly, who comes to help Shundor mama (Sumon Patwary) with his PhD research.  She works as a bridge between two generations. She is smart, witty, feisty, and brave who has her own outlook towards life.

In the drama, Shiluly has some great dialogues. Her dialogues will move the viewers. Through her dialogues, the writers conveyed important messages on how a father-son or a father-daughter bond should be.

Aupee Karim is one of those actors of the country who can deliver a range of emotions through her eyes while delivering the dialogues. As Miss Shiuly, Aupee Karim is remarkable and flawless.

Besides Aupee Karim, each and every actor delivered an authentic performances.

Afran Nisho plays Dipu who is an engineer and extremely afraid of his father. Dipu has passion for cooking but he was compelled to be an engineer by his father. Dipu lacks confidence in himself, thus, he couldn't chase his dreams.  Afran Nisho gave one of the best performances in his career. I thoroughly enjoyed his acting.

Dipu's sister, Diya is a university student who is in love with a drug addict. In the drama, Safa Kabir seems authentic as a university  student who doesn't have any idea about life.

Veteran actor Abul Hayat plays the role of an angry father. He didn't get enough screen time, but Abul Hayat's character is an important one for the story.

As Shundor mama, Sumon Patwary's performance is comedic and enjoyable as always. Shumon mama's interactions with his nephew Dipu are delightful for the audiences.

Fahim, played by Yash Rohan is another interesting character. This character adds charm and wittiness in the story.

"Miss Shiuly" features some great camera works. Another interesting aspect of the drama is the costume design because viewers will find it very relatable with everyday life.

Overall, "Miss Shiuly" is a great production, and kudos to the director for executing the story with such perfection.

"Miss Shiuly" is available on the official app and YouTube channel of BongoBD.
