The basic composition of this song was done in 2013. Tinu wrote the song in 2017 while spending time with his brother by his sick-bed. Later, the band recomposed the song for the album.

"Mohomukto" is a disco, funk, and alternative style album in which the band's fan base will find completely different grooves.

Karnival's debut album "Indraloy" was a rock album while "Attotshorgo" and "Dysfunctional Motion Picture" were experimental rock albums.

Their fourth album features a total of six songs. The songs in the album are composed by the band members.

The title track of the album, "Mohomukti" is well composed and brings old alternative grooves back. Khalid's blissful drumming throughout the song is pleasant to the ears. Tinu's vocal sounds very mature. The rhythm of guitar, the chorus in the background, groovy drum beats, altogether, make it one of the best songs from the album.

Karnival released a retro-style lyric video of the song on March 10 on their official YouTube channel.

Another song from the album, titled "Control Room," has pop, funk, and disco vibe. Abdullah Saad, director of "Live From Dhaka", made the music video for this song.

The intro of "Bhrom" mesmerises listeners instantly. Ashraf again proves his drumming skills in the song. Salmi's guitar solo that kicks in from 4:15 second in the song is just outstanding.

Dhamai's subtle bass-line in the very beginning of "Rirongsha" adds funky tune to the song. The concert-goers will definitely dance with the essence of this song at live shows.

The last song of the album,"Otopor" is another great number of the album which will not disappoint the listeners.

The album is available for the listeners on YouTube, Gaan app, and Spotify.  The album was recorded at Studio Basement while it was mixed by Tinu Rashid and Dewan Anamul Hasan and mastered by Dewan Anamul Hasan.

The album was produced by Tinu and the cover was designed by Shirom Mahmud.

The current line-up of Karnival is consists of Tinu Rashid on vocals and guitar, Salmi Rahman on guitar, Mousum Dhamai on bass, and Khalid Ashraf on drums.
