Kanye West kicked from Illinois ballot after submitting invalid signatures
He submitted 3218 from which 1928 signatures were deemed as invalid

The obstacles in Kanye West's presidential path are far from over. The rapper is highly unlikely to be elected on his home state's presidential ballot after his submitted signatures were found to be invalid.
As reported by the Chicago Tribune, West had to submit 2500 signatures to be on the ballot. He submitted 3218 from which 1928 signatures were deemed as invalid by the election board. Kanye West is now far behind when it comes to admissible signatures.
West had to also withdrew his petition to be on the New Jersey ballot earlier, after a similar dispute.
Generally signatures are deemed irrelevant if the signatories aren't state voters, and in many cases when they provide fake address.
Kanye's presidency will transition from unlikely to an outright impossible feat, if the rapper can't contest in the Illinois presidential primaries. As, it'd be mathematically impossible for him to get the required 270 delegates.
Even though the celebrity is vocal about his intent to win, he had recently admitted to hurting Joe Biden through his campaign in an interview with Forbes. However, recent polls have seen him take away more voters from Trump because of his extreme stance on abortion and other republican talking points.
The rapper is now in a tough spot as reports confirm there's a strain on his marriage, his mental health and of course, his presidential run.
