Emmys will donate $2.4 million to fight child hunger
Every network and streaming service have vowed to donate a $100,000 for every award they win

The Emmys this year is going to be a lot different almost in every aspect. However, some changes are for the better this year.
At the end of the show a total of $2.4 million would be going to the No Kid Hungry group. The group aims to ameliorate the hunger that the ongoing pandemic has caused.
Every network and streaming service that have been nominated have vowed to donate a $100,000 for every award they win.
And that's not all even the academy will be donating a massive sum of $500,000, bringing the total to 2.8 million dollars.
The initiative has been lauded by almost everyone. The pandemic has viciously affected people from all over the world. And it's a general consensus that children should not suffer the horrible consequences.
This year's format is vastly different, compared to other ones. The show will be hosted by talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel.
