Malaysia starts issuing multiple-entry visas for Bangladeshi workers
In a statement, the country’s home ministry clarified that Bangladeshi workers currently holding temporary work visit passes (PLKS) and single-entry visas will not need to apply for MEVs separately.

Malaysia has begun issuing Multiple-entry visas (MEVs) for Bangladeshi workers starting today (8 August).
In a statement, the country's home ministry clarified that Bangladeshi workers currently holding temporary work visit passes (PLKS) and single-entry visas will not need to apply for MEVs separately.
"The MEV facility will be coordinated by the immigration department at international entry points for valid PLKS holders. MEVs will be issued as part of the process of extending a PLKS for the following year," the statement read.
The ministry said the move aims to improve the management of migrant worker movements, minimise the misuse of immigration passes, and ease congestion for new visa applications at Malaysian missions abroad.
