The Dhaka Metropolitan Police has ramped up security surrounding the National Eidgah in the capital ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr expected to be celebrated tomorrow (31 March). Police dogs, tactical bomb disposal robots and armed members of various law enforcement units have been deployed at the spot.

The main jamaat of Eid-ul-Fitr is scheduled to be held at 8.30am at the National Eidgah in the capital.
