Ginger merchants or ship traders?

There is a common saying in Bangla "Showing concern over ships while trading in ginger." This idiom is used to describe an insignificant person's worry over a significant matter. Although ginger merchants were once considered insignificant, they are no longer negligible. The ginger market is growing and expanding day by day.
