Snacking fresh instead of Junk foods
The place where we slip up, especially in office, is snacks. Fruits, nuts, almonds, Roasted chana, homemade oil free snacks etc can be listed in snacking instead of eating unhealthy.
Stay hydrated
Water is the best way to stay hydrated. Other calorie-free healthy drinks include sugar-free fresh lemon water, fresh coconut water, vegetable juices, and chaas. Fresh fruit juice is also a source of extra sugar.
Limit sugar consumption
Sugar consumption in excess can lead to obesity, which is a major heart risk. Fresh milk instead of creamers, stick to 6 teaspoons of added sugars per day, fruit juices, can be listed to fresh produce rather than processed foods.
Exercise
Remaining physically active in office is also important. Taking the stairs, walking to the water cooler, taking a short stroll at lunch breaks is good for heart-healthy.
