1. Drawing tablet

Wacom One Medium CTL-672

Best brands: Wacom one, Huion and XP Pen

Where to find: Multimedia Kingdom, Red Apple, Star Tech and Gadget and Gear

Price: Tk10,500

Specifications:

Model: Wacom One By CTL-672/K2-F

Active Area: 216.0 x 135.0 mm

Pressure Levels: 2,048

If you have gathered enough knowledge to start a career as a graphic designer, you certainly need a drawing tablet. Numerous drawing tabs are available in the market from popular brands such as Wacom One and Huion. But experts suggest choosing the Wacom One Medium CTL-672 for beginners. Its current market price is Tk10,500.

This model of Wacom is small and takes up a tiny space so you can design the rest of your workspace the way you want. Along with it, there is a larger area for broader strokes of the pen which is also battery-free.

It will ensure the pen-on-paper feel while drawing and writing. Notably, it is pretty lightweight to be carried anywhere.

To use it, all you need to do is connect the USB cable to your computer device, download and install the driver, and the tablet is ready to be used. However, if you have a larger budget, you can look for the pen display but it will cost a bit more.

If you want drawing tablets of other brands, Huion and XP Pen are good choices as well.

2. Monitor

LG 22MK600M

Best brands: LG, Samsung, BenQ, ViewSonic

Where to find: Multimedia Kingdom, Red Apple, LG Showroom, Samsung showroom and Gadget and Gear

Price: Tk11,000

Specifications:

Resolution: 1,920 x 1,080

One might think that a monitor should not be the priority for graphics designing but it is important to understand colour accuracy.

Beginners can use laptops as an alternative to monitors but it may not bring out the best results. Hence, a monitor is a better and safer option.

According to experts, the LG 22MK600M is a good deal for Tk11,00 as it has a high definition display with true colours. Its IPS technology focuses on the performance of liquid crystal displays so viewers can enjoy a clearer and smoother image at the screen, at virtually from any angle.

Those who study different materials should go for this monitor as it has the option to reduce blue light, which helps to lessen eye fatigue and ensure the perfect optimal condition for reading.

Its interface is truly user friendly and there is an option to customize the display. With 3.5 star rating out of 5 from its users, this monitor is a good option for beginners on a tight budget.  Once you upgrade from the beginner level, you can go for more expensive monitors from brands like Samsung, BenQ and ViewSonic.

3. Graphics card

GEFORCE GTX 1660 Ti

Best brands: NVIDIA and AMD Radeon

Where to find: Multimedia Kingdom, Red Apple, LG showroom, Samsung showroom and Gadget and Gear

Type GeForce Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 Ti OC 6GB Graphics Card

Card Bus: PCI-E 3.0 x 16

Buying this device is optional if you have enough budget. It will make your work experience smoother. However, for heavier tasks such as 3D modeling, animation and video editing, this device is mandatory.

There are few more brands in the market but experts suggested sticking with the graphics card from NVIDIA as AMD Radeon graphics card produces heat, which is why the GEFORCE GTX 1660 Ti is a safer option.

It also ensures 1.4X power efficiency over the previous generation. So you can capture, share videos, take screenshots, and live stream with friends sans technical turbulence.
