Three laptops under Tk70,000

Laptop has always been the priority when we think of portability or remote work. This is an era of remote work. But now along with portability, we also need to consider performance.

As laptops are a bit pricey compared to PC, we need to balance between budget and performance. The Business Standard has picked three laptops from different brands with good quality performance under Tk70,000.

1. HP ProBook 450 G7 Notebook PC

This highly secure, professional and manageable HP ProBook 450 G7 comes in silver colour with stylish features. It weighs only 3.5 pounds and is easy to carry.

With 15.6" diagonal Full HD, it has Intel Core i5-10510U processor.

With 4GB (1x4GB) 2666 DDR4 RAM, it is also upgradeable to 32GB and the capacity of its hard disk is 1 TB 5400 RPM SATA. Premium spill-resistant keyboard, clickPad support and finger print sensor have made this model unique.

Its long life 3-cell, 45 Wh Li-ion battery helps it to provide good work performance. And to attend virtual meetings, it has 720p HD camera. As advance feature, it has embedded security chip which can authenticate users through Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).

2. ASUS VivoBook S15 M533IA

With the processor AMD Ryzen 5 4500U, this laptop has 15.6" LED-backlit Full HD. Due to this Ryzen 5 processor, it performs better than any contemporary Intel 5 laptop. It has up to 16 GB 3200MHz DDR4 RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD.

It is popular for regular use in office, school, occasional heavier loads or some casual gaming.

Though it does not have a flash design, it maintains a reasonably portable weight of 3.97 pounds. Along with a HD camera, it has 50Wh 3-cells lithium-polymer battery that can recharge a low battery to 60% in just 49 minutes.

With backlit keyboard, it has Precision Touchpad (PTP) Technology that does intelligent palm-rejection and supports up to four-finger smart gestures.

3. Dell Latitude 14-3410

Dell Latitude is designed to give separate dynamics in the daily life of power users. This black colour piece weighs only 3.54 pounds.

Its super thin bezels embrace the 14" full HD display. With the backlit keyboard, it comes with Intel Core i5-10210U processor. Connecting with a wireless keyboard and mouse adapter are optional features in this device.

It has 8GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD. As webcam, it has user facing 0.9 MP (720p) camera. Its 3-cells 40Wh battery helps perform well while travelling and video conferences. This has a feature of universal audio jack. And it also can be connected with wireless Bluetooth device.

These three laptops are currently available in Bangladesh in most of the tech shops. Ryans, UCC and StarTech are popular tech shops where these devices are available.

These tech shops also keep providing discount offers after every few months. If someone is in tight budget, then he or she can wait for things to become budget friendly.
