TBS hosts journalism workshop on ethical reporting

A day-long journalism workshop was held today (10 May) to equip entry-level journalists and social workers with essential knowledge on ethical reporting and safe information management.
Titled "Ethics, Privacy, and Safety," the workshop was jointly organised by Badabon Sangho and The Business Standard. It took place at the TBS office in Eskaton Garden, Dhaka.
Participants included journalists and NGO workers, with sessions focusing on ethical journalism practices and the sensitive handling of gender-based violence cases.
Among the attendees were Shahriar Khan, executive editor of The Business Standard; communication specialist and columnist Shahana Huda Ranjana; and officials from Badabon Sangho.
Mir Masruruzzaman, executive director of Somosti Media Communication and Development Foundation, conducted two sessions of the workshop.
