‘Kathbirali’ premieres first song of the movie

The first song from the upcoming movie 'Kathbirali' has premiered on Youtube. Baul Shafi Mandal lent his voice for the song 'Sundor konna.' Actors Orchita Sporshia and Abir are the two performers of the music video.

The film has recently premiered at Gazarmara village in Pabna. The entire film was shot in Gazarmara. Kathbirali is scheduled to be released on 17th January.

Regarding the release of the song, director Niamul Mukta said that the film has already started campaigning for its nationwide release. As part of this, the song titled 'Shundori Konna' was released today. Popular folk singer Shafi Mondal has lent his voice for the song after singing for Humayun Ahmed's 'Gheetputra Kamala'. Yusuf Hassan Orko composed the song based on lyrics by playwright Selim Al Din. Music arrangement was done by Emon Chowdhury. The song has been released on the YouTube channel of Chilikotha Films, Jazz Multimedia and M Records.

Kathbirali commenced its shooting on 2nd March, 2017. After two years of shooting and post production, it is finally slated for a release this year.

While asked about the film, director Niamul Mukta said, "Kathbirali' is our dream project. Everyone who has worked in it were very sincere . Everyone tried to give the best in the film. Now it's our turn to bring it to the audience. The first song of the film was released today. Then we will publish the second and third songs respectively. Hopefully all the songs of Kathbirali will please the audience.

The cast of the film also includes Aditya Monir, Shahriar Ferdous Sajeeb, Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Hindol Roy, AK Azad Shetu, Tanjina Rahman and many more. Jazz Multimedia is distributor of the movie. Kathbirali is produced by Chilikotha Films, a production company owned by Niyamul Mukta.
