The major index DSEX of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) plummeted by 56 points to settle at 5,374 in the first trading session on Monday.
During the session, 54 scrips advanced, while 293 declined and 27 remained unchanged.
The turnover value stood at Tk210 crore.
