CAPM Islamic Mutual Fund incurs Tk62 lakh loss in Jan-Mar
Its units closed at Tk7.70 on DSE yesterday (29 April)

CAPM IBBL Islamic Mutual Fund reported a loss of Tk62 lakh for the January–March quarter of the current fiscal year, according to its unaudited financial statement.
The loss translates to Tk0.09 per unit during the three-month period. As of the end of March, the fund's net asset value (NAV) stood at Tk55.66 crore based on market price, significantly lower than its NAV of Tk76.08 crore calculated on a cost-price basis.
The closed-end mutual fund is managed by CAPM Company Limited, with Islami Bank as the sponsor and the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh acting as both trustee and custodian.
Despite the quarterly loss, the fund's units closed 1.28% higher at Tk7.70 on the Dhaka Stock Exchange yesterday (29 April).
