Bata declares 105% cash dividend, profit drops 26% in 2024
Bata Shoe (Bangladesh) Limited has declared a 105% cash dividend as final to its shareholders for the year of 2024.
According to the company source, the dividend declaration came out from its board meeting held on Tuesday.
Earlier, it had paid a 340% cash dividend as interim, so the total dividend would be 445% cash in 2024.

To approve the dividend, the company will hold the annual general meeting on 26 June and the record date 26 May.
According to its price sensitive statement, Bata shoe reported that its earnings per share dropped by 26% to Tk21.62 in the last year compared to the previous year.
