Stocks down at opening session

Indices of both stock exchanges witnessed a downward trend in the first one and half hour trading session on Wednesday.
DSEX, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) lost 0.07% or 4.40 points to settle at 5,560 till 11:30 am.
During this session, DSE turnover rose by 7% to Tk288.52 crore.
The newly listed company Mir Akhter secured the top position in the turnover chart with a trading value of Tk36.60 crore. During the session, it's share price rose by 23% to Tk100 each.
Moreover, DSE shariah index DSES fell 0.32% to 1,241 points and blue-chip index DS30 rose 0.18% to 2,113 points.
During this session, 67 companies' share price rose, while 153 issues fell and 110 issues' price remained unchanged at the DSE.
Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) benchmark index CASPI lost by 82 points to 16,114 till 11:30 am.
