Bangladesh Shipping Corporation profit jumps 30% in Jul-Mar
Following the profit growth, its share price jumped by 1.12% to reach at Tk90.20 till 10:30 am on Wednesday trading session

Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) reported that its net profit jumped by 30% in the July-March period of FY25.
According to the company's disclosure filed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), its earnings per share was Tk14.38 in the first nine months of the current fiscal year, which was Tk11.05 a year ago in the same period.
The company said in the statement, BSC's revenue for the current year's first nine months increased compared to the previous year due to the increase in fares in the international shipping sector and capital gains from the sale of MT Banglar Jyoti and MT Banglar Sourav. In this context, BSC's net earnings per share increased compared to the previous year.
Following the profit growth, its share price jumped by 1.12% to reach at Tk90.20 till 10:30 am on Wednesday trading session.
