Govt wants to boost FDI by giving incentives
Bida Executive Chairman Chowdhury Ashik Bin Harun will act as the Member Secretary of the committee.

The government has constituted a five-member committee headed by Finance Adviser Salehuddin Ahmed to increase Direct Foreign Investment (FDI) in the country by giving incentives.
The committee will submit its recommendations in this regard within one month, according to a statement signed by Dr Ahmed Ullah, Director General (DG) of the Chief Adviser's Office, today (2 June).
Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Chowdhury Ashik Bin Harun will act as the Member Secretary of the committee.
The other members of the committee are - Bangladesh Bank Governor Ahsan H Mansur, National Board of Revenue (NBR) Chairman Md Abdur Rahman Khan, and Finance Secretary Md Khairuzzaman Mozumder.
