Yamaha Riders Club holds beach cleaning campaign in Cox’s Bazar
Ahead of International Youth Day, the Yamaha Riders Club (YRC) organised a beach cleaning campaign at Sugandha Point in Cox's Bazar, with around 400 Yamaha riders taking part as part of the YRC Annual Conclave 2026, organised by Yamaha Bangladesh on 11 August.
The day-long annual conclave was held at Long Beach Hotel in Cox's Bazar, bringing together Yamaha riders from different parts of the country. The event featured various activities aimed at strengthening the Yamaha riders' community and promoting social responsibility. Selected riders were also honoured for their outstanding contributions to social service initiatives, according to a press release.
As International Youth Day was observed on 12 August, the riders participated in the beach cleaning campaign at Sugandha Point in the afternoon. Participants collected plastic, polythene and other waste from different areas of the beach, contributing to a cleaner and more environmentally friendly coastline.
The initiative aimed to encourage young people to take an active role in environmental protection and social responsibility. Through the campaign, the Yamaha Riders Club demonstrated how youth engagement can contribute to community welfare and environmental conservation.
The campaign was attended by Subrata Ranjan Das, Managing Director of ACI Motors, along with senior officials of ACI Motors, who joined and supported the Yamaha riders in the initiative.
