ULAB, Drik Trust unveil project to link research and storytelling

The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) and Drik Trust have signed an MoU to launch "Ctrl+Alt+Story: Research and Storytelling in Journalism."
The collaborative program will give students of Media Studies & Journalism, English, and related disciplines hands-on opportunities to explore literary, visual, and multimedia forms for journalistic and narrative non-fiction work.
Designed to bridge classroom learning with newsroom and studio practice, the initiative emphasises research-driven inquiry paired with creative expression, encouraging young storytellers to experiment with formats such as longform features, photo essays, data stories, audio, and short documentaries.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Shahidul Alam on behalf of Drik Trust and Professor Imran Rahman, Vice Chancellor of ULAB.
