This initiative is expected to enhance UCB students' career opportunities through exclusive placement and internship programmes at EBL. Students will also benefit from training programmes, knowledge-sharing sessions, guest lectures, career guidance, and mentoring throughout their time at the bank. The partnership underscores the importance of collaboration between academia and industry and will provide students with access to industry-leading resources and networking opportunities. UCB students will gain hands-on experience, tackle real-life challenges, and receive mentorship to prepare them for the competitive job market.

Manas Singh, CEO of STS Group, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership stating, "We are very excited to have partnered with Eastern Bank PLC., one of the leading names in the local banking sector. At UCB, we aim to create and empower the next generation of industry leaders in the country. This partnership will go a long way in securing a bright future for our students by enriching their educational experiences and exposing them to the realities of the industry."

M. Khorshed Anowar, DMD and Head of Retail & SME Banking at Eastern Bank PLC. said, "We are excited to meet the bright UCB students who will join us. We believe this industry-academia collaboration will propel them towards successful careers in the financial and corporate sectors. Our aim is to equip them with the necessary knowledge to adjust to the realities of working life, which will significantly enhance their employability in the near future."

UCB enables students to pursue degrees at Monash University, University of London – LSE, University of Central Lancashire, and other overseas institutions after completing their O/AS/A/HSC levels. UCB offers international programmes in Bangladesh, following the same academic curriculum as its global partners. This unique approach provides Bangladeshi students with international higher education at extremely cost-effective tuition fees.
