Three US-Bangla staff receive Aviatour Women’s Icon Award 2026
Three female professionals from US-Bangla Airlines have been recognised with the Aviatour Women's Icon Award 2026 for their outstanding contributions to the aviation sector.
The awards were presented at a ceremony in Dhaka on 14 March, with State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Rashiduzzaman Millat serving as chief guest to commemorate International Women's Day.
A total of ten female professionals were honoured for setting exemplary standards across the aviation and tourism industry. From US-Bangla Airlines, Mukta Wahid, Manager of Cabin Services, was recognised as Best Trainer. Moushumi Akter, Assistant Manager of Customer Service, and Farhana Yasmin, Senior Executive of Sales and Marketing, also received awards for their achievements.
The event was organised by the Aviation and Tourism Journalists' Forum of Bangladesh (ATJFB). Notable attendees included Air Vice Marshal M Mostafa Mahmud Siddique, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB); Nuzhat Yasmin, CEO of the Bangladesh Tourism Board (BTB); former CAAB chairman Air Vice Marshal (retd) M Mafidur Rahman; Tanjim Anwar, ATJFB President; and Baten Biplob, ATJFB Secretary.
