Southeast Bank holds workshop on anti-fraud and compliance
Southeast Bank Training Institute organised a half-day workshop titled "Internal Control for Anti-Fraud and Related Significant Compliance Issues of the Bank" on 30 August 2025.
Barrister M Moyeen Alam Firozee, independent director and chairman of the audit committee of Southeast Bank PLC, attended as the chief guest. Abidur Rahman Chowdhury, managing director (current charge) of the bank, was also present.
Md Farhad Hossain, Joint Director of the Bangladesh Bank Training Academy, delivered the keynote address.

Officials from the Internal Control and Compliance Division (ICCD) and managers of 15 Dhaka-based authorised dealer branches participated in the workshop, underscoring Southeast Bank PLC's commitment to strengthening compliance, governance, and anti-fraud practices.
