Global merchandise exports reached $26.26 trillion in 2025, up 7% from $24.43 trillion in 2024. China retained its position as the world's largest merchandise exporter, with growth driven by strong demand from Asia and developing markets, trade redirection away from the United States and more competitive pricing.
