ShareTrip partners NGOs to launch donation feature ‘GiveBack’
ShareTrip, Bangladesh's first travel superbrand, has introduced a donation feature that allows users to support social causes while booking flights through its platform.
The new "GiveBack" feature is integrated across both the ShareTrip app and website, enabling users to add a donation during the flight booking and payment process and contribute to selected social initiatives with ease.
ShareTrip has established long-term partnerships with leading organisations, including Give Bangladesh, SAJIDA Foundation, SOS Children's Villages, ActionAid and Youth Worldwide Foundation.
Through these partnerships, the platform supports programmes across key areas such as education, healthcare, women's empowerment and climate resilience.
With the introduction of the feature, ShareTrip is extending this impact further by integrating social contribution directly into the flight booking experience.
The initiative enables users to take part in meaningful action through everyday digital transactions.
It builds on ShareTrip's continued efforts to engage its user base in social impact initiatives, including its "Share the Joy" campaign, which has been running since 2023 in collaboration with partner organisations.
"We are working closely with NGOs and social enterprises that are actively driving change in areas we deeply care about," said ShareTrip Head of Marketing Nafiz Chowdhury.
"Through this initiative, we want to use the ShareTrip platform as a catalyst, helping highlight their work, bring greater visibility to their causes, and ultimately amplify the impact of the programmes they are leading," he added.
As digital platforms continue to evolve beyond traditional services, ShareTrip said the initiative marks a significant step towards purpose-driven innovation within Bangladesh's digital landscape.
By embedding giving into the flight booking journey, ShareTrip aims to set a new benchmark for how technology can connect everyday services with social good.
