Scholastica to host International Mathematics and Science Carnival 2025

Scholastica, one of Bangladesh's leading educational institutions, is set to host the Scholastica International Mathematics and Science Carnival 2025 (SMSC'25) on 20 June (online) and 22 June (in person).
Organised by the Scholastica Mathematics and Science Club, the carnival aims to ignite curiosity and inspire scientific exploration among school students through a dynamic and inclusive platform.
The in-person event will take place at Scholastica's Senior Campus in Mirpur, bringing together nearly 2,000 participants from schools across Bangladesh and abroad, making it one of the largest STEM carnivals in the country.
With over 15 engaging segments, the carnival will feature math and science olympiads, logic games, interactive STEM projects, and creative displays, offering participants the chance to showcase their problem-solving, critical thinking, and scientific innovation in a collaborative yet competitive atmosphere.This year's event is supported by gonitzoggo as the official platform partner, Bangaldesh Math Olympaid club as the academic partner ,Boi Bichitra and Earth's Ants.
Speaking about the initiative, Md Samiu Hossain, Head Organiser and President of the Mathematics and Environmental Clubs and Vice President of the Science Club, said:
"SMSC'25 has always been a dream come true. Seeing it grow to this scale, nationally and internationally, is incredibly rewarding. The enthusiasm from students shows how deeply a passion for science and mathematics drives youth."
SMSC'25 aligns with Scholastica's broader mission to promote STEM education, encourage global citizenship, and cultivate leadership and innovation among young learners. The carnival continues to serve as a launching pad for the next generation of scientists, engineers, and change-makers.
