Rajshahi University hosts Hult Prize campus round grand finale
Rajshahi University hosted the grand finale of the Hult Prize 2025–26 campus round on 4 February, bringing together student teams to present business ideas aimed at addressing social challenges.
Held at the university's Senate Building, the finale marked the ninth consecutive year that Rajshahi University has organised the campus round of the global student entrepreneurship competition.
After submissions from 760 teams and a final pitching round, Team "SIPSAFE" emerged as campus champion and qualified to advance to the next stages of the competition. Team "Bunon Bazar" was named first runner-up, while Team "The Conquerors" secured the second runner-up position.
Speakers at the event said initiatives such as the Hult Prize help build leadership, critical thinking, and social responsibility among students, and provide exposure to international standards in innovation and entrepreneurship.
The event was attended by Professor Dr Md Amirul Islam, Student Adviser; Salauddin Ammar, General Secretary, Rajshahi University Central Students' Union; and Tofail Tofa, Science and Technology Secretary, along with faculty members, student participants, and guests.
This year's campus round was supported by partners including Khan Teheri Ghar, VRC Study Abroad, REMARK, Global Heights, and Valvoline, organisers said.
The Hult Prize is a global student-focused competition that encourages young people to develop ventures with measurable social impact.
