Radisson Blu Dhaka launches Turkey-themed ‘Sultan’s Sofra’ iftar buffet
Ramadan is a sacred month of fasting, prayer and spiritual reflection, fostering patience, gratitude and togetherness, and bringing families and communities closer in a spirit of kindness.
This Ramadan, Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden is presenting Sultan's Sofra, billed as Bangladesh's first Turkey-themed iftar-cum-dinner buffet, in partnership with Trust Bank and Turkish Airlines.
As part of the programme, the hotel has flown in two Turkish chefs, each with more than 20 years of professional experience. Chef Onhan Hasan Gaziantep, renowned for Turkish desserts, will prepare items such as baklava and kunefe, while Chef Celik Ahmet Melikgazi will offer savoury dishes including shawarma, tantuni, kebab and kofta. The buffet will also feature a variety of traditional foods and classic iftar items.
Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden is offering promotions, including a buy-one-get-three offer on selected bank cards at Tk9,950 net. A 'Dine & Win' campaign is also underway, with one guest set to win a Dhaka–Turkey return air ticket, sponsored by Turkish Airlines, during Ramadan.
To complement the culinary experience, the hotel has introduced a Turkish shop stall featuring décor, accessories and lifestyle items imported from Turkey.
Beyond the buffet, the hotel is offering takeaway iftar boxes for corporate and private occasions, with prices starting from Tk8,950 net, as well as an iftar bazaar in the lobby for individual items. Banquet facilities for corporate iftar events and a Ramadan Retreat room package are also available.
