Islami Bank, RIA launch remittance fiesta with daily motorcycle raffle
Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC will offer a motorcycle through a digital raffle draw on each banking day (Sunday–Thursday) for customers sending cash remittances via Ria Money Transfer. Remittance recipients will also receive a key ring as a complimentary gift.
The offer will run from 19 February to 18 March 2026 to mark Mah-e-Ramadan.
Md Omar Faruk Khan, managing director of the bank, inaugurated the Islami Bank–Ria Money Transfer Remittance Fiesta as chief guest on Tuesday, 17 February 2026, at Islami Bank Tower.

Dr Emil Ruban, managing director and senior regional director (India and South Asia) of Ria Money Transfer, attended as the guest of honour.
Md Altaf Hossain, Engr Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder, and Dr M Kamal Uddin Jasim, additional managing directors, attended as special guests.
Md Rafiqul Islam, deputy managing director, presided over the programme. Rashedul Islam Talukder, country manager of Ria Money Transfer Bangladesh, also spoke at the event, while Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, head of the bank's overseas banking division, delivered the welcome speech.
Senior executives from the head office, zone heads, and branch and sub-branch in-charges attended the programme.
