Prime Bank to provide tuition fee collection, payroll services for AIS
Prime Bank PLC has signed a strategic partnership with Angelica International School (AIS) under its education-focused initiative, PrimeAcademia, to provide banking services to the school community.
AIS, an English-medium school in Savar established in 1997, will access Prime Bank's digital and retail banking services under the partnership. The bank stated that the collaboration includes automated tuition fee collection, institutional business accounts, and payroll banking for staff, as well as tailored financial products for parents and employees, including savings accounts, loan facilities, and credit card options.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by Shaila Abedin, Senior Executive Vice-President and Head of Liability at Prime Bank, and Hasina Akter, Principal of AIS.
M M Mahbub Hasan, Senior Vice-President and Head of Financial Inclusion and School Banking at Prime Bank; AIS Directors Salim Mahmud and Ehsanul Kabir Sakib; and other officials from both organisations attended the signing ceremony.
Prime Bank stated that the partnership aligns with its focus on promoting financial literacy and providing banking services to educational institutions.
