Prime Bank and BIA train employees on Bancassurance
Prime Bank PLC, in collaboration with Bangladesh Insurance Academy (BIA), has conducted a three-day training course on Bancassurance for its employees at BIA's head office in Mohakhali, Dhaka.
The training was led by senior experts from the regulatory, insurance, and banking sectors, focusing on the recently launched Bancassurance framework in Bangladesh. Participants included members from Prime Bank's Branch, Priority, Payroll, and Retail Asset Sales teams.
The session was inaugurated by Md Apel Mahmud, Member (Life) of the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA). Special guests included Probir Chandra Das, Deputy Managing Director & CFO of National Life Insurance Co Ltd, and Mamur Ahmed, Executive Vice President and Head of Branch Distribution Network at Prime Bank PLC. S M Ibrahim Hossain, Chief Faculty Member of BIA, presided over the session as Chairperson.
