Premier Bank hosts Business Conference 2025

Premier Bank PLC hosted its Business Conference 2025 on 11 January at the Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel. Freedom Fighter Dr H.B.M. Iqbal, Chairman of the Board of Directors, attended virtually as the Chief Guest, with Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Abu Jafar presiding. Vice Chairman Moin Iqbal also participated virtually.

The event saw the presence of key figures including M Imran Iqbal, Chairman of the Risk Management and Executive Committee; Independent Director Naba Gopal Banik; Additional Managing Directors Syed Nowsher Ali, Shamsuddin Chowdhury, and Nasim Sekander; and Deputy Managing Director and CFO Sayed Abul Hashem, among others.

In his opening remarks, Dr Iqbal commended the bank's rapid growth and urged continued dedication to service quality and business development. CEO Mohammad Abu Jafar emphasised the bank's role in advancing the nation through quality investment in priority sectors, stressing the need for modern, client-focused services amidst economic challenges.

The conference also celebrated achievements from 2024, recognising top performers. Branch managers from 136 branches, zonal heads, and division heads from the Head Office participated in the event.
