PRAN-RFL launches national AI creative content competition
Participants can submit work in four categories: AI Advertising, Film, Music Video and Fashion.
Bangladesh's first national-level competition for AI-powered creative content, the Prism AI Creative Award 2026, was launched today (12 August) at the PRAN-RFL Group headquarters in Badda, Dhaka.
Organised by SpikeStory Limited and sponsored by PRAN-RFL Group, the competition aims to help young people develop creative thinking, storytelling and content-production skills using artificial intelligence (AI), according to a press release.
Participants can submit work in four categories: AI Advertising, Film, Music Video and Fashion.
"Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the creative industries, from advertising and animation to music videos and fashion," said PRAN-RFL Group Director of Marketing Kamruzzaman Kamal at the inauguration.
"One of the key objectives is to connect Bangladesh's young generation with this technology and bring promising AI creators onto a national platform," he added.
SpikeStory Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Hossain Al Farabi said the competition aims to identify young creators capable of producing original work using AI and foster collaboration among creators, professionals, technology companies, educational institutions and brands.
Workshops will be held at universities and other educational institutions nationwide, providing practical training in prompt engineering, storytelling and AI-powered content creation.
Following the preliminary selection, 12 finalists from each category will advance to a two-day Prism AI Bootcamp featuring training in AI tools, creative strategy, storytelling and prompt engineering.
The Prism AI Creative Summit and awards ceremony will be held in October, bringing together representatives from the AI, creative, technology and industrial sectors.
Winners and runners-up in the four categories will receive prizes totalling Tk10 lakh, along with other awards.
The competition's partners include The Daily Star, Seeb's Solution, Astha IT, 10 Minute School, Maroon Inc., Aleph Group, Bangladesh Open Source Network, AI Varsity and the ICE Centre of the University of Dhaka.
