Pragati Life Insurance shareholders approve 15% cash, 10% stock dividend
The 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Pragati Life Insurance PLC was held on 13 August 2026 through a digital platform, with company Chairman Mohammed Abdul Awwal presiding over the meeting.
Shareholders unanimously approved a 15% cash dividend and a 10% stock dividend for the year 2025, according to a press release.
The AGM was attended by the company's Founder Chairman Syed M Altaf Hussain and Directors A S M Mohiuddin Monem, Tajwar M Awal, Suhel Ahmed Choudhury, chairman of the Audit Committee, Dr Sayed Quamrul Hossain, Anwar Faruque and Quamrun Naher Ahmed.

CEO Md Jalalul Azim, CFO Chandra Shekhar Das, FCA, and external auditor Anil Salam Idris & Co Chartered Accountants were also present at the meeting.
A large number of shareholders participated in the AGM. Company Secretary Jagadish Kumar Bhanja, FCS, conducted the meeting.
