Apart from manufacturing medicines, Orion also encourages outdoor sports for the overall development of the physical and mental health status of the people. In continuation to this, Orion Pharma organised an attractive quiz competition on the Football World Cup 2022 for eminent doctors of Bangladesh.

Prof Dr Md Sharfuddin Ahmed, vice-chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, and Sheikh Mohammad Aslam, former Bangladeshi footballer, conducted the raffle draw.

Managing Director of Orion Pharma Zareen Karim, Executive Director SM Noor Hossain and other officials of the company were also present in this raffle draw event.

Zareen Karim, managing director of Orion Pharma, said, "It is a pleasure to see so many doctors participate in this quiz competition even though they are very busy. They are working relentlessly to ensure a better life for the people. We have plans to do more such projects in the future."

Prof Dr Md Sharfuddin Ahmed said this involvement of doctors in the World Cup Quiz is a milestone. All the 2,500 doctors who participated in this competition with the correct answer were winners. But the five who won the lottery got extra, similar to the extra time in a football match.

Sheikh Mohammad Aslam, former Bangladeshi footballer said, "Football is a game of love, a game of patience and a game of friendship. The recent World Cup gave the world a message of peace even after the war. We have seen a complete football World Cup. Congratulations to all who participated and won prizes in this competition."

The winners of the contest are Dr ASM Kamrul Hasan, Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College and Hospital, Dr Rafiqul Islam, Pediatrician, Malibagh, Dr Maimuna Tasnim, Anwara Hospital Chittagong, Dr Mohammad Ali, Anwar Hossain Hospital, Rajshahi and Dr Akkoy Saha, Moulovibazar.
